<p>More and more governments and private institutions introduce
federated authentication for web based applications, and with that
a number of standards and specifications are needed to support a
flexible web of identity and service providers.<br />
<br />
Globeteam describes in the document below how to install and
configure the SAML2.0 for Windows Identity Foundation Service
Provider Framework. Chapter 4 provides the step-by-step
installation guideline for installing the Service Provider Demo web
site in your own environment.<br />
<br />
The documentation also includes an example of how to configure the
IdP (in this case, Microsoft AD FS 2.0) for use with the Service
Provider Demo web site/SAML 2.0 For WIF and vice versa.</p>

installation.<br />

<p>Globeteam takes over the assets of Safewhere and thus
strengthens its position in the market for identity and access
management&nbsp; on the Microsoft platform.</p>

<p>Globeteam specializes in IT infrastructure and software
development&nbsp; on the Microsoft platform with special emphasis
on identity and access management. In connection with the purchase
of the assets of Safewhere as at 17 September 2010, Claus Moldow,
managing director of Globeteam, says:<br />
<br />
"By taking over the assets of Safewhere we have gained access to a
substantial code base and products that to a very large extent
supplement our own services. Globeteam and Safewhere have had
different approaches to the market and since we both operate on the
Microsoft platform, it is obvious that Globeteam and our customers
will benefit from this purchase . Globeteam offers Safewhere
customers future-oriented support and continuous development of the
product they have chosen. We expect to gain a unique competitive
advantage on the increasing market for identity and access
management and we are looking forward to presenting our solutions
in the market ."<br />

<br />
</a>The purchase of the assets of Safewhere includes software,
source codes and other immaterial rights. It also includes the
systems Safewhere Identify and Safewhere Protect which provide
organizations with an easy and effective access solution when it
comes to managing users from different partners with consequent
cost reductions and increased efficiency for both the organization,
the administrators and the users.</p>

<p>Globeteam has, just like Safewhere, built a unique competence
within identity and access management in connection with the user
management solutions delivered to our customers. We were the first
outside Microsoft to implement the beta version of Microsoft's
latest federation product - Active Directory Federation Service
version 2 (AD FS 2.0) - in a production installation.<br />
<br />
The purchase of the Safewhere assets has at one blow broadened
Globeteam's product range within user management solutions and
cemented Globeteam's position as the leading supplier in Denmark of
user and identity management with special emphasis on federation
solutions.<br />

<p>Close to 150 people attended the May 19 half day seminar by
PricewaterhouseCoopers, Microsoft, and Safewhere on Access
Management for SharePoint.</p>

<p>Not only did the size of the crowd indicate a need, but very
positive feedback from attendees shows that the observations and
solutions laid out in the presentations were very relevant and very
well received.</p>

<p>Seminar presentations included:&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
<li><em>SharePoint as Internet Portal</em>, by Jesper Herp,
Solution Specialist, Microsoft</li>

<li><em>Security Challenges and Solution Patterns</em>, by Martin

<p><strong>High Value Seminar</strong></p>

<p>Based on feedback from participants the seminar was very well
