Globeteam takes over Safewhere

Globeteam takes over the assets of Safewhere and thus strengthens its position in the market for identity and access management  on the Microsoft platform.

Globeteam specializes in IT infrastructure and software development  on the Microsoft platform with special emphasis on identity and access management. In connection with the purchase of the assets of Safewhere as at 17 September 2010, Claus Moldow, managing director of Globeteam, says:

The purchase of the assets of Safewhere includes software, source codes and other immaterial rights. It also includes the systems Safewhere Identify and Safewhere Protect which provide organizations with an easy and effective access solution when it comes to managing users from different partners with consequent cost reductions and increased efficiency for both the organization, the administrators and the users.

Globeteam has, just like Safewhere, built a unique competence within identity and access management in connection with the user management solutions delivered to our customers. We were the first outside Microsoft to implement the beta version of Microsoft's latest federation product - Active Directory Federation Service version 2 (AD FS 2.0) - in a production installation.

The purchase of the Safewhere assets has at one blow broadened Globeteam's product range within user management solutions and cemented Globeteam's position as the leading supplier in Denmark of user and identity management with special emphasis on federation solutions.
